U-Boat is always ahead of the curve and never stops on the road of innovation. In its constant search for innovative watchmaking techniques, U-Boat created the Darkmoon collection. The oil immersion technology used in this collection was originally proven in the brand's Capsoil model. U-Boat has further developed this concept in the Darkmoon collection. The watch movement is completely immersed in special oil. The oil immersion process perfectly sets off the dial and creates the optical illusion that the Darkmoon watch is famous for. The oil immersion not only enhances the beauty of the dial, but also makes the watch look like it has no mirror. To compensate for temperature changes, visible bubbles are left floating freely on the surface of the watch. However, it is important to note that because the movement is immersed in oil, the Darkmoon watch should not be exposed to direct sunlight or heat for a long time.

The new U-Boat Darkmoon collection features an innovative locking system and quick battery change function located on the case back. The locking ring system used in these new models is designed to ensure better regulation of the oil level in the case during maintenance and daily wear.
